Blue Spruce Award Voting at Cherry Creek!

PrintPrintEmailEmail
The Lost Hero

Teens! This is your time to vote! December is coming to end and that means the 2014 Blue Spruce Award voting is almost finished!

The Blue Spruce Award is a contest held throughout the state of Colorado in which teens (grades 6-12) nominate and then vote on titles to proclaim a winner. The nominations are already in for the year and there are 20 outstanding and very diverse titles to dig into!

Last year the winning title was The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan!

You are asked to read one or a few titles out of the nominated group and then vote on your favorite. We have paper ballots at the Cherry Creek Branch Library, as well as, an online system for voting.  If you vote at our branch, either by ballot or online, you can enter your name into our raffle for a copy of the 2014 Blue Spruce Award winning book title! The titles will be announced in mid-January and then our raffle winners will be notified.

Come in and make your vote heard!
