This website has links to books, ebooks, DVDs, suggested websites and even an awesome database to help you get your future started today!

Learning Express Library Database:

The Learning Express Library database is available with your Denver Public Library card from any computer - anywhere! The following topics are just a small sample of what the database offers…

  • Preparation books and practice tests for many exams including: SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement, ASVAB and GED.
  •  Information about writing your college application essay.
  • Help with subject area skills including public speaking, math, writing, and reading comprehension.
  • Need to get a job? Try the section in Learning Express Library on job search, resumes, and interviewing.
  • Are you taking control of your money for the first time? Learning Express Library also has a section on personal finance skills.

Student Research Appointment Services:

A new service we encourage teens to take advantage of is a one on one meeting with the expert librarians in Reference Services at the Central Library. They offer a Student Research appointment service designed for middle school, high school and adult students who are working on a research project or paper.

You can make an appointment with a librarian a week in advance, and we’ll spend an hour with you focusing on your individual research goals. Go beyond Google and Wikipedia with their help and locate the best materials for your project. Our resources include subscription databases, reference books, periodicals, and Federal government documents.
