A Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens who meet each month to give librarians guidance about better serving teens in general, and about library program ideas for our own community. During our meetings, we plan projects together. We eat yummy snacks. We have fun!

We will not have more than 12 members, from grades 8th-12th. Being on a TAB is a commitment, so membership is competitive. All of us have shown our commitment to the Athmar Park Branch Library before the TAB was even formed. Check out some of our past projects.

TAB members attend meetings and programs, and are responsible library users. We set an example of appropriate library behavior for our peers and younger library users. We help promote participation in library programs, and respect the tastes, privacy, and opinions of others. We are committed to making the Athmar Park Branch Library and our community more enjoyable for everyone.
