Teen Advisory Board

What's a Teen Advisory Board? It's a group of teens who meet each month to give librarians guidance about better serving teens in general, and about library program ideas for our own community. We want you to help make your library awesome!

  • Are you in grade 6-12?
  • Are you willing to commit to regular meetings?
  • Do you enjoy working with others as a team?
  • Are you invested in improving your library?

Then join the Sam Gary Branch Library Teen Advisory Board!

Just download the application, fill it out, and return it to the Sam Gary Branch Library.

Jobs & Volunteering

Volunteering at the Library - Currently Full

The Sam Gary Branch Library is seeking energetic, friendly teens who can provide excellent customer service while registering kids and teens for the Summer of Reading (SOR) program. To apply, you need to be between 12-18, have excellent customer service skills, and availability during afternoons and weekends in the summer.

The Sam Gary Branch accepts Teen Volunteer applications every year in the spring (March-May) to assist with Summer of Reading registration (June-August). We are currently full.

Complete the Volunteer Application (PDF) and the Volunteer Services Agreement (PDF) and return it to the Sam Gary Branch between March and May if you are interested in a summer position.
